This last weekend

We had a really fun 4th of July weekend. On monday the 3rd we were able to get together with Grandma and Grandpa Burgon and Bruce and Jeanne and their girls. It was a good time and we were able to talk and remember fun things together. The kids love to go to the grandparents home, they always have fun playing in the yard and the basement in the toy closet.
On the 4th we got up early and went to our neighborhood and ward breakfast. The food was good and the kids and adults had fun having a water fight. I think everyone there young and older got wet. It was fun. Then later in the afternoon we had some friends over to bar-b-que with us, the first thing to happen is that we ran out of fuel for the grill while we were in the middle of cooking LOL and then this huge storm blew in and it rained hard for awhile. The rain let up long enough for us to enjoy the fireworks which we watched in our neighbors back yard. Then it started to rain again and we went home. We stayed out until almost midnight and hoped the kids would sleep in for a bit this morning but it was not to be!! We were all up at 7 am. grrrr!! So that is our weekend and we had tons of fun!!
