OOHH the pain and agony!!

The things we have to do as parents to get the kids looking good!! We literally have to hold Aidan in a vise grip to cut his hair this is just one example of the torture we go through !!

Of course after awhile of sitting here getting her picture taken and everyone saying " eat it Brielle " she wanted no more of it!!

Long time, no blog

Ashlynn got on me for not blogging for awhile so here is a pic of Brielle on her birthday. She loved this cake, even though it was probably too big, oh well her mommy loves her!!

This last weekend

We had a really fun 4th of July weekend. On monday the 3rd we were able to get together with Grandma and Grandpa Burgon and Bruce and Jeanne and their girls. It was a good time and we were able to talk and remember fun things together. The kids love to go to the grandparents home, they always have fun playing in the yard and the basement in the toy closet.
On the 4th we got up early and went to our neighborhood and ward breakfast. The food was good and the kids and adults had fun having a water fight. I think everyone there young and older got wet. It was fun. Then later in the afternoon we had some friends over to bar-b-que with us, the first thing to happen is that we ran out of fuel for the grill while we were in the middle of cooking LOL and then this huge storm blew in and it rained hard for awhile. The rain let up long enough for us to enjoy the fireworks which we watched in our neighbors back yard. Then it started to rain again and we went home. We stayed out until almost midnight and hoped the kids would sleep in for a bit this morning but it was not to be!! We were all up at 7 am. grrrr!! So that is our weekend and we had tons of fun!! Hope you all did too!!

Brielle is 1!!

We had Brielles first Birthday this last Saturday. Mom and Dad and Allen's Mom and stepdad came, Ashlynn came and Jen and Dave and their crew came. The kids played, the adults talked, and then we had cake!! Brielle had her own of course and only ate the icing, she could care less about the cake part. Then when she had her fill of icing I gave her a bath and she opened her present which is a walker helper type of toy, it converts into a four wheeler. She likes to ride it but can only go backwards by herself, she doesn't care tho she just giggles.
